Contents

There are more than 5500 RFC documents and they are all mirrored here in kDemons from their original home in RFC Editor. The request for comment documents are an example of what this site aims to do. Instead of having to search for RFCs in one site, look for examples on using a specific protocol in another and finding an implementation for it in another, you find it all in one place. Also, despite the RFCs are available as their original text format, they will also be available in a more formatted and demonstrated version. Anyone can add content related to a specific RFC like explaining the RFC, sample implementations, commercial implementations and the like.

This RFC index lists all RFC documents mirrored in kDemons so as to serve as a starting point for finding what you are looking for. We tried to supply the index in as many formats as we could to be suitable for use with different purposes and in different contexts. If you have a suggestion for another format or media, please feel free to state your opinion/suggestion/request in the Discussion Page. Following is the formats and divisions available so far:

Wiki Link Lists

The RFC Index has been imported into wiki-pages in different layouts and different details level. The pages range from mere listing of RFC document numbers and links to their corresponding wiki-pages to fully detailed listings. Also most of the pages have two layouts when possible, a list layout and a table layout.
